Here's a look at your Leadership Academy Week. It is attached as a PDF file. It's the "glossy" version for you to print out for reference.
As you look at the schedule, please make sure to take a look at the Leadership Mall page. The Mall is a special feature of the Leadership Academy that allows you to choose from among several sessions.
Past participants have told us they really appreciated being able to do a little "custom tailoring" of their learning, so we have expanded the Mall options this year. And remember - one of your daily Mall options is also a rare commodity: free time to rest, read or write.
We also feature "Faculty Face Time" on Thursday afternoon. If there's a Poynter or guest faculty with whom you'd like to have one-on-one time for conversation or coaching, you simply sign up.
Reminders:
- We kick off at 3pm on Sunday, October 21.
- During the week, sessions start each day at 8:45am.
- On
Wednesday, we'll feature an "International Round Table Lunch."
This is a chance for us to break bread together and discuss journalism
around the world with our international colleagues in the seminar.
- We'll end scheduled sessions around 5:45pm through Thursday.
- We have group dinners on Sunday, Monday and Thursday night (which is our closing party)
- Tuesday and Wednesday night are unscheduled.
- We end the seminar at 2:30pm on Friday, October 26.
Here's another look at your week from the seminar syllabus:
